Deprecation Notice: "event.published" webhook and Event "status" Field

We’d like to inform you about the deprecation notice of the event.published webhook subscription, as well as events’ status attribute (that can take the “draft” or “published” value, as of today).

The publication status of an event will be removed as all events will be published automatically when created. By default, the visibility of your events will be hidden, and it’s up to you to decide in your events’ settings whether they are publicly visible or hidden on your company page, and whether they have registration pages or not.

Both deprecations will take place on August 15th, 2022 (which is 6 months from now). We strongly advise you to replace your event.published subscriptions with the new event.created or session.created triggers until then!
